LAST WEEK: 4-1 (80%) CAREER: 28-21-1 (57%)
I put Pat Fitz as the article picture and Northwestern lets me down, I should’ve known.
P.S.A- For the first time in Weekly 5 history, I will be throwing in a 6th game. I like 6 this week so why not, consider it a makeup for when my Friday pick falls flat.
Week 11 CFB
11/8 10:30 EST Washington (-10) at Oregon State
I get it, the Huskies have been one of the most disappointing teams in America, I have been one of the most disappointing prophecizers on Friday and Oregon State has surprised people this year, but this seems like a discounted price to me. Washington blew leads against Oregon and Utah the past 2 weeks but competed for 4 quarters in both games, although they have 4 losses their 5 wins are by an average 26 point margin of victory.
Washington 42 Oregon State 24
11/9 12noonEST #12 Baylor (-2) at TCU
TCU burned me against Texas and I want my money back. Baylor is quietly still undefeated and I don’t think they will let TCU ruin their fun just yet, especially considering the injury to TCU starting QB Max Duggan. Patterson will keep them in the fight, but Rhule rolls.
Baylor 33 TCU 24
11/9 3:30EST Louisville (+7) at Miami
I have spoken on my liking for the Cards football team this year. The coaching job Scott Satterfield has done has been awesome to watch. That mixed with the Canes’ inconsistency this year leans me towards Louisville outright.
Louisville 28 Miami 24
11/9 7:30EST #15 Notre Dame (-8) at Duke
This is a gut check for the Irish. First you get absolutely walloped by the Wolverines in Ann Arbor, then you narrowly escape a loss to VATECH. Show me something here fellas, I expect a blowout.
ND 41 Duke 17
11/9 7:30EST Tennessee at Kentucky (PK)
This line has bounced around a lot, I will take the Wildcats in a pick’em. Although Tennessee has done some things to revitalize their season, I do not believe in their consistency and ability to play 4 quarters. On the other hand, I love Mark Stoops and the cats this year, they have yet to do me wrong.
Kentucky 27 Tennessee 20
11/9 8EST Iowa State (+15) at #9 Oklahoma
Oklahoma is gonna want to put up some style points after the crushing loss to K State and the Cyclones will frustrate the heck out of them. I have loved Iowa St from afar this year and this is a great spot for them getting 15.
Oklahoma 44 Iowa State 38
Other games to keep an eye out for:
Penn State @ Minnesota, LSU @ Alabama, Iowa @ Wisconsin
